Yakult, a probiotic drink was launched in India in 2007 by Yakult Danone India (P) Ltd, a joint venture between two global probiotic leaders, Yakult Honsha, Japan and Groupe Danone, France.
The company was formed in 2005 to manufacture and sell probiotic products in the Indian market.
Yakult is manufactured at a HACCP certified manufacturing facility in Sonepat, Haryana in India and is presently available in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Delhi/NCR, Gujrat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand and West Bengal.
Yakult’s benefits have been scientifically established through 80 years of research and 40 million people in more than 40 countries worldwide drink Yakult every day.
