I discovered that Webnode’s platform had changed from what I was accustomed to, but quickly learned that the templates yielded a great result. I created two free test sites to see how things would look, trying different templates to compare the appearance and functionality. Once I decided on the template I wanted to use, I jumped in and began the detailed construction, adding the text and images I needed. I got bogged down a bit because of the new platform that I wasn’t familiar with, but got great help from the FAQs and support team. Once I got the site looking like I wanted, I upgraded to a premium package and registered my own domain, www.slaterdavis.com. This process was relatively easy, though I again got bogged down in my own inexperience. I searched the FAQs and then sent off an email to the support team.
