Veganuary is a charity inspiring people to try vegan for January and throughout the rest of the year.

For the rest of the year, we support vegans - new and long-term - through our Try Vegan, Stay Vegan campaign. We provide practical support, advice and info and are always friendly, welcoming and non-judgmental.

This page is a fun and friendly environment, where anyone interested in trying/being vegan should feel safe to ask questions, chat, and share experiences or thoughts.

During the Veganuary campaign months (November – January) there will be an influx of new members; people participating in Veganuary, trying vegan for the first time. Please encourage, inspire and be kind at all times. Page Admins reserve the right to remove any comments/members that/who are not in the spirit of Veganuary.

It is free to take part in Veganuary, and we supply you with everything you need to try vegan for 31 days. You’ll get sent heaps of cool stuff through our emails, and you can keep track of what we’re doing here, via our Facebook group (Facebook.com/Veganuary/groups) or by following us on Twitter (www.twitter.com/veganuary) and Instagram (www.instagram.com/weareveganuary). If you haven’t already, you can sign up here and take part in the next Veganuary: www.veganuary.com/try-vegan?d=facebook

All the information you need to try or stay vegan is on our website, Veganuary.com.

If you need to contact us, you can do so via the contact form on our website, Veganuary.com/contact

Thank you for joining in the spirit of Veganuary!

Note: the definition of vegan (as set down by Donald Watson, founder of The Vegan Society) is:

'Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.'
