Upad is the UK’s largest online letting agency: rapidly growing and disrupting the traditional high street letting agent model. It is one of the most established start-ups within the 'PropTech' sector (Where technology innovation is being leveraged to propel the property industry forward).

Founded in 2008 by Portfolio Landlord James Davis, Upad has serviced over 12,500 landlords and helped let more than 30,000 properties across the UK. This is the equivalent of a 60 branch high street agency. Upad prides itself on remarkable customer service and continuous technology innovation. In return, a third of its customers have referred a new landlord and over 50% have returned to let another property.

Through a comprehensive understanding of the PRS, Upad enable landlords to get their property advertised on Zoopla and Rightmove within 24 hours, generating on average 35 tenant enquiries. Upad also provides a dedicated ARLA-qualified account manager to see the process through right up until the contract is signed and the tenant moved in. Traditionally landlords would expect to pay upwards of £1000 to let their property, Upad landlords receive this service for just £120.

Upad landlords have more control and can select the most suitable tenant, which often leads to a longer lasting tenancy. Research conducted in 2014 by independent research specialists BDRC stated that Upad landlords suffered 45% less rent arrears compared to non-Upad landlords.

Upad have an army of loyal customers who have done everything from leave more than 600 five star reviews on Trustpilot to investing over £1m directly into the business.
