Purpose | The Innovation Office and its Business Innovation Centre accelerate the impact of research and innovation at University of Galway. We enable collaboration, knowledge transfer, commercialisation and start-up success.
People | We engage with researchers, enterprises, government, community groups investors and the public. At the heart of the Innovation Office is our Business Innovation Centre* (BIC) which is focused on developing, scaling and growing the start-up community on campus, in our city and in our region. The BIC is home to over 35 new ventures - including university spin-outs - each driven by talented, innovative and collaborative teams.

The region is home to exciting start-ups, social enterprises, scaling organisations, ambitious SMEs and large corporates.
