Aurora: AI-Assisted Assessments

Aurora: AI-Assisted Assessments generates quality K-12 (ages 5 to 18) assessments 100x faster, powered by AI. Parents, teachers, and schools rely on assessments for feedback on how to guide students to success. Today, that boils down to quizzes in the classroom, creating inefficient and passive learning. Aurora imagines a world where students have their own textbooks that react to personal learning styles. Until then, we partner with publishers and education companies to automatically create assessments from content for K-12 student learning. Our systems use AI to understand text, identify main concepts, and generate quality questions to evaluate understanding. Aurora makes learning dynamic, personalised and fast. Karishma Kamal Galani holds a Master’s in Educational Technology from Harvard University. With time in research at MIT’s Media Lab, she has also led edtech innovation at an international school and authored two books in her field. Ramsri Goutham Golla is an AI expert who has spent the last 7 years building large scale AI products in the Bay Area. He has worked on patented machine learning algorithms as part of his academic research. Most recently he founded an AI publishing startup with his independent Natural Language Processing research work.
