Tiger Optics introduced the world’s first commercial “Continuous Wave Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy” (CW CRDS) analyzer in 2001. Today, Tigers are found on every continent except Antarctica. Robust units from Tiger now monitor more than 1,500 critical points at semiconductor fabrication plants, LED makers, and gas manufacturers. Tigers are also at work in 15 of the world’s national metrology laboratories, serving as transfer standards to qualify calibration gases.

Here are some compelling facts:

Versatility: Our instruments can detect down to low parts-per-trillion in a variety of gas matrices. We offer detectors for trace H2O, CH4, NH3, CO, CO2, H2S, H2CO, HCN, NO2, N2O, C2H2, among other molecules.

Low cost of ownership: No external calibration standards or purifiers are required. Tiger units have no moving parts, hence there is very little, if any, wear and tear.

Returning customers: Over a three-year span, previous customers have purchased additional product from Tiger, accounting for 65 percent of the company’s sales have been to repeat customers, indicating a very high level of satisfaction with our products, service, and quality.

Innovation: The company never rests. Since introducing the HALO in 2006, Tiger has added the HALO+ in 2007 and the Tiger-i in 2008. The manufacturer rolled out Tiger-i’s for atmospheric monitoring of greenhouse gases and unveiled the Prismatic, the first broadband multi-species CW CRDS analyzer, in 2009. In 2010, Tiger introduced the ALOHA, exclusively for the High Brightness LED market.

Awards for Excellence: Tiger is a two-time winner of the Golden Gas trophy presented by Gases & Instrumentation International since 2008. The publication awarded its “BEST OF SHOW” prize and Golden Gas trophy to Tiger Optics and its Prismatic™ Multi-Species Gas Analyzer at PITTCON 2010, attended by some 950 exhibitors.

Quick installation: Tiger has a proven record for “out of the box” performance. Customers can unpack a unit with their morning coffee and take accurate measurements well before lunch.

Exclusive Rights: Tiger Optics holds exclusive rights to multiple, broad-based patents from Princeton University on CW CRDS for a steady stream of inventions. On Princeton’s behalf, Tiger has secured patents on these innovations in countries on four continents.
