Thom Sweeney was created by Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney. From a young age both Thom and Luke have worked in 'the trade' placing a great importance in learning the craft to develop a fundamental understanding of bespoke tailoring.
Initially they each served an apprenticeship under some of the greatest cutters and tailors on Savile Row moving on to quirky east end and tailors, Timothy Everest. Alongside this solid grounding in bespoke tailoring the pair set collaborations with British designers Kim Jones and Matthew Williamson, creating the tailoring pieces for their catwalk shows.
Thom and Luke's partnership creates a dynamic cocktail, blending a deep knowledge of tailoring with a dash of flair.
Ultimately their time spend in 'the trade' was all to create the Thom Sweeney world of bespoke. That of individuality, luxury, style and elegance whilst having a little fun too!
