THISDAY is published by Leaders and Company Limited; it first hit newsstands on January 22, 1995 and quickly carved out a niche for itself in business and political reporting, breaking big stories and becoming a newspaper of choice.

In its first year of publication, it won the prestigious NMMA Newspaper of the Year Award, which it retained for three consecutive years. THISDAY introduced full colour printing in 1997 two years after it entered the market, the first newspaper to do so.
