Established in 2015, Think of Us was founded by former foster youth Sixto Cancel, as a commitment to action to the Clinton Global Initiative University. We are deeply connected to foster care. TOU is an Action Tank driving systematic change in child welfare. We integrate the experiences of current and former foster youth – what we define as ‘Lived Experience’ – and position young people as the primary stakeholders in our decision-making, design and execution.
