Our scalable and high-quality two-dimensional (2D) boron nitride (BN) enables semiconductor manufacturers who want to achieve faster, smaller, cooler, lighter, durable and bendable electronic devices by exploiting the unique characteristics of BN materials. 2D electronic devices fabricated based on graphene encapsulated with BN are 10x faster than Si-based devices, yet the dimensions are significantly reduced, which will be revolutionary for next generation electronics. At the moment, wafer-scale fabrication of graphene is already achieved. However, wafer-scale high-quality BN is the biggest challenge, which are not available on the market. We are surface physicists have worked with BN materials since 1997 and we can fabricate such highly demanding BN materials at University of Zurich.
