SwagTag is the fun, new app where brands host contests that reward their biggest fans.
The app was started by a friendly midwestern gorilla and a wise mountain unicorn who came together to solve a problem. While on an angry walk through the deep forest, co-founders Danny Beckett, Jr. and Duncan Robins discussed their deep frustration for contests. Contests? Yeah, nothing too fancy or high tech, but still - something real.

People, (both users and brands) have been complaining about contests for years.
For the users, it's about the apps, creativity, fragmentation, ease of use, and those damn “Enter your email and win”.
For the brands, it’s the process, the apps, the technology, the legal & rules, the details & fragmentation, and the fact that…no one even cares.
Danny the gorilla and Duncan the unicorn were convinced that contest experiences suck, and they decided to build something better.
They set up shop in the canopy of the forest, and engineered SwagTag.
They started by watching the users.
What do users ACTUALLY want??
To have fun, win free stuff, and easy participation. Makes sense, right?
Ok, so they built an app where users can generate and post to a contest, rack up points, and win free stuff - ALL IN ONE PLACE. Done. Unicorn magic.
Then they looked for what brands want.
An easy to use marketing tool that generates contact leads, real content to use later, and more traffic on social and shopping platforms.
So they built a dashboard that allows brands to craft and manage contests that generate content and traffic. The dashboard also displays analytics and reports, so brands can easily repeat what works. And, they only pay for real results. Done.
As the gorilla and unicorn exit the forest and look to the future, they are overcome with determination to create products and features that empower their customers to grow.
