We at Solartes are developing transparent plastics which capture and store solar energy during the day and release the stored energy as heat during the night. Like a combined solar panel, batterie and radiator, but all-in-one in the form of transparent plastic. Integrated into the building skin, the plastic aims to reduce the need for heating during night-time and helps to regulate the indoor climate utilizing solar energy. Currently, we are in the process of technology validation and product development.
