SOCO Network Solutions GmbH ("SOCO") builds and operates fibre optic networks as a regional provider of full-fledged telecommunications and value-added services for commercial and private customers. The key component of the infrastructure located in North Rhine-Westphalia is its own fibre optic network, which SOCO uses as a basis to provide high-speed Internet access to residential and commercial areas that have so far not been serviced or only have been serviced poorly.
Adiuva acquired a stake in SOCO in 2016 as part of a growth capital investment and supported the company in accelerating the expansion of a wide-spread fibre optic infrastructure. During this time, the number of customers almost tripled.
The company was acquired in July 2019 by Basalt Infrastructure Partners together with bn:t Blatzheim Networks Telecom GmbH.
