It’s 5:00 pm and Suzy is winding up to end her day. Suzy is the VP of maintenance & operations of a large chemical plant in Baytown. As she is about to leave, she gets a call on her phone. On the other side of the phone is maintenance engineer Dave.
Suzy - “What do you mean it stopped working? What went wrong?”
Dave - “It’s the main bearing fault”.
Suzy - “Do we have a spare bearing?”
Dave - “No we don’t have the right match in our stores, I am afraid we will have to shutdown assembly line one.”
Suzy - “We don’t have any other option. Shut it down.”
