Richard Skins Photography was set up around 10 years ago and is now purely focused on photographing weddings, I moved to Dorset and have not looked back.
As a documentary wedding photographer, my idea of wedding photography is not your usual looking straight at the camera formal style, I want to capture the day as it was with all the laughter, love and everything in-between. I'll photograph all the excitement and even some of the nerves. I want to show exactly how the day was! Not some staged part, which only tells a fraction about who you both are.
I absolutely love my job and it felt very natural to try and combine this with seeing more of the world. I've been photographing weddings across Europe for the past few years and so far they have taken me to the Dordogne in South-West France, stunning tuscan villas in italy, gorgeous Lake Bled in Slovenia & even the south coast of Ireland. I'm now addicted!
