We (Un)Publish Games
Look. It was an accident. We’ve been developers for various companies for a handful of professional lifetimes and somehow we got tangled up in the publishing business. We also -think- we might be under the influence of a super-evil artificial intelligence from another dimension… but regardless, we have good intentions. Honest!
Hell, it all really started because we wanted to help a couple of our friends financially and support their kick-ass game. Then we decided to help them publish it. And then we started Raw Fury. Or Raw Fury started us. Or took over our brains. Anyway – Raw Fury. It’s a thing.
But are you Evil?
Well… no. Certainly not! Or, at least we hope we’re not. We might be wrong. After all, we’re being brain controlled by this super-evil artificial intelligence, remember? It’s not just an excuse – we promise. Or not. Whatever. What was the question?
Anyway – there are publishers out there that are nice. Or at least there can be publishers out there that are nice. That adopt a different model, are doing it for the gamers and for the developers. That believe strongly that some of the most powerful game experiences of today come from small independent teams that are striving to create something full of meaning and emotional impact. Niche games that resonate with a specific audience. Or niche concepts that break conventional wisdom (we use that word loosely) and resonate with a huge audience far exceeding our wildest expectations.
If this sounds like a “hell yeah!” to you, then please come with us. It’s nice here.
Wait… UNpublish!? What the hell does that mean?
To be honest we came up with it in a meeting with our super-evil AI… errr… I mean friends, that’s it, our f-r-i-e-n-d-s. And it was the best way to describe what we are doing in a single word. We are different, and we are going to do things differently. We want to dismantle how publishing games is traditionally viewed and we don’t really think about ourselves as a publisher. So yeah. Unpublishing. It’s a thing.
OK. Not Evil, got it. What are you looking for?
We’re particularly interested in things that are daring, risky, impossible or on the bleeding edge of everything. So if you have one of those things going on… we’ll find you! (or you can just contact us).
