Quicargo is an online platform which connects carriers who have unused loading space to shippers who need immediate transportation of their goods. According to the World Economic Forum, 69% of goods-transporting vehicles are running empty or with unused space, due to lack of communication and cooperation between carriers and shippers. This is where Quicargo comes in; we manage to exploit existing routes to maximize usage of loading space while saving time, cost, fuel, and minimizing pollution. By using Quicargo, shippers request a shipment and within a few minutes they receive quotes from carriers in the nearby area who have extra space. The shipper selects a carrier based on the distance, price, rating and reviews. Once the selection has been made, the shipper can track the cargo on his phone until it reaches the final destination. Upon shipment completion, both sides will be notified, receive automatic invoices and will be able to rank each other. The carrier will be paid by Quicargo within a few days.
