The ASTar™ system will deliver rapid antibiotic susceptibility results within 6 hours directly from positive blood cultures. Our development platform, ASTrID®, will deliver both molecular identification in a panel of 50+ pathogens including resistance markers, and a phenotypic antibiotic susceptibility profile in 10 hours from blood draw. Both systems will report bacterial growth or inhibition as Minimum Inhibitory Concentration values.
