QANTAS FACEBOOK HOUSE RULES

These rules aren’t meant to constrain or intrude on your personal opinions and thoughts. They’re just some suggestions to help everyone enjoy, interact and express themselves on our page. We ask you all to consider these when you visit us.

We respect everyone’s right to express their thoughts and opinions, and encourage constructive dialogue among members of this group. But we do ask you to remember that if your contributions don’t comply with Facebook’s Terms or our House Rules then they (and you) may be removed.

Whilst we moderate this site we do hope to create a community with you that is built on respect, and over time develop a culture of self moderation.

So we’ve kept it to just three basic rules that we ask you to keep in mind.

1. Keep your posts nice. Don’t be obscene, offensive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, overtly sexual, discriminatory or hateful to another person or organisation - including us, our partners, our employees, competitors and other people or organisations

2. This is a spam free zone. So no repeat posts please or unsolicited ads

3. Keep posts relevant to the Qantas page and thread

We welcome your feedback, both positive and negative, and will endeavor to respond to your comments when you’d expect us to.

While we support lively, open discussion, we reserve the right to delete comments at our discretion.

If you post a photo to Instagram and include #Qantas, #QantasAirways or @Qantas, or tag Qantas in your photo, then are you granting Qantas Airways Limited (ABN 16 009 661 901 - Qantas Airways only and excluding Jetstar) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, revocable, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly display and reproduce, your photo, including without limitation, in any online media formats and through any social media channels, pages or accounts.

Qantas does NOT claim ANY ownership rights in photos that are tagged with #Qantas, #QantasAirways or @Qantas.

You are able to revoke this licence at any time by contacting Qantas in writing at socialmedia@qantas.com.au and informing us that you no longer want us to use your photo.
