The Pioneer Valley Grows Investment Fund (PVGIF) is a community investment fund that provides catalytic financing and business assistance to farms and local food business to grow a healthy local food system. PVGIF is a program of the Franklin County Community Development Corporation.
PVGIF grew out of the PVGrows network, which hosted working groups and networking forums (circa 2008 to 2016) open to anyone working to build a healthy Pioneer Valley Food System. Individuals from hundreds of organizations, agencies, and initiatives participated in PVGrows forums and working groups.
