Since 1954, punker has been specializing in the design and manufacture of centrifugal fan wheels, cross-flow wheels and cross-flow fans. The significant know-how turned punker into a worldwide leader in this market segment. Anywhere air needs to be moved, products made by punker are being utilized. Among our long list of clients, we count well-known market leader companies as valued, long-standing customers. At our production site in Eckernförde, Schleswig-Holstein, which encompasses a total production area of 22,000 m², about 300 employees produce more than 5 million fan wheels per year. We are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. Our export share exceeds 55 percent. punker has earned a leading position in the market by engineering design solutions tailored to meet our customers’ technical requirements. We can offer these services as we have a strong research and development department as well as an experienced machine tool shop for the construction of specialized production machines and tools. From research to design and manufacture, we offer our customers technical advice, development and production from one source. Our customers benefit from our emphasis on increased energy efficiency, noise reduction and compact construction to meet and exceed their requirements. Thanks to our singular focus and our strong emphasis on quality, punker has continuously grown over the past 10 years and we have developed into the market leader in Europe. Our company has also recently grown further with the establishment of punker LLC in Hickory, North Carolina, at the end of 2011. Continued expansion of the punker group is our goal through additional co-operations and acquisitions. There is also a high potential for growth by entering into the marketplace in countries such as China and India.
