Psaltry International Company Limited is the leading agro-allied cassava processing company in Africa. We are the first cassava processing company in Africa to produce cassava-based sorbitol and the second in the world. The company was established in 2005 to excel in the cassava value chain by defining a new approach to cassava processing. That enables a consistent supply of high-quality industrial cassava derivatives, including high-quality cassava flour (HQCF), food-grade cassava starch, cassava glucose syrup, and sorbitol, to our clients in the pharmaceutical, personal care, food, and beverages sectors. Our recently commissioned cassava-based sorbitol factory with a production capacity of 25 tons per day will serve as a raw material in food and beverages production, the production of toothpaste, and confectionery products. The Psaltry cassava-based sorbitol factory is the first cassava-based sorbitol factory in Nigeria, Africa, and the second in the world. • We produce premium quality Garri fortified with vitamin A from yellow cassava. FAO reported that 14.4 million people in Nigeria are facing a food crisis, and indications show it will worsen. Our Garri production is a big step in alleviating food insecurity and making quality and healthy Garri accessible to every household in the country. • We run an out-grower scheme of 3,500 farmers and 500 youth Agripreneurs.
