The company's proprietary PoroGaN material and DynamicPixelTuning (DPT) technology enable a single microLED chip to emit any visible colour from a single pixel, including white light. This breakthrough facilitates the creation of high-resolution, energy-efficient displays for a wide range of applications, from augmented reality to consumer electronics.
Porotech was spun out of Prof. Oliver’s Gallium Nitride Centre at the University of Cambridge in 2018.
