PneumRx was founded in 2004 with the aim of meeting the significant market need for better, minimally invasive treatments for emphysema patients. The PneumRx RePneu LVRC is CE Marked and commercialised in Europe. In December 2014, PneumRx was acquired by BTG Plc (LSE:BTG) in a deal worth up to $475 million, based on an initial consideration of $230 million and up to $245 million in performance-related milestone payments.
