Persistence Plus is a mission-driven social impact venture focused on improving college persistence and completion. In its work with thousands of students at colleges nationwide, Persistence Plus marries behavioral research, data analytics, and mobile technology to foster the academic behaviors and mindsets associated with college success. Results show that students respond to and value Persistence Plus’s mobile nudges, and that students receiving the nudges perform better academically and persist at greater rates than students who do not. Persistence Plus has been recognized by the Kauffman Foundation, Milken Family Foundation, and Blue Ridge Foundation for its innovative approach and potential to make a difference at scale.
