OXIO is an open and transparent exchange that allows connectivity suppliers and buyers to connect, trade and interact in the currency of data. Of the 5 billion mobile subscribers around the world, only 3.3 billion of them use mobile data. Of those 3.3 billion, only a small subset is able to stay consistently connected with enough data to satisfy their needs. Mobile data is too expensive for most of those buyers and the friction in acquiring data access is too great. OXIO solves these two issues so that the next 4 billion people and 25 billion IoT devices can be active, consistent participants in the digital economy.
