OmiX develops a novel technology platform that allows for DNA testing for pathogens, outside of laboratory settings. Analogous to the glucose strips and glucometer devices for glucose testing at home, the OmiX platform detects pathogen DNA present in blood and other body fluids on a novel disposable kit, automated robotic setup, and software for analysis.
