NAR is developing drone-based solutions allowing drones to analyze and interpret data On-The-Fly for safety-critical applications in the Wildfire and Oil & Gas sectors.
NAR's drone solution enables the cost-effective, fast and safe monitoring of long pipelines for leakages and third party threats as well as large and hard to reach forest areas for potential hotspots.
NAR successfully underwent a 3-month acceleration program at SPEED@BDD.
The team showed great character and dedication and was chosen among the top two start-ups of their batch to benefit from a Silicon Valley immersion program at Blackbox Connect in San Francisco, California.
The idea started back in August, 2014 as a Final Year Project at the Lebanese American University by co-founders Charlie El Khoury & Nicolas Zaatar when they developed their first smart drone platform based on off-the-shelf hardware components which was called back then: QuadroFighter.
A series of events, topped by QuadroFighter winning the first prize in the prestigious national Microsoft Imagine Cup World Citizenship category, led to the creation of NAR.
