Mondo is a European talc mining and processing firm. Its core markets are the paper and paint industries. It supplies the majority of talc for paper producers in Finland, the rest of the Nordic region and Northern Europe.
In 2011, hg announced the sale of Mondo to Advent International Corporation, in a transaction that saw an overall investment multiple of 1.9x and a 17% gross IRR.
