Monash University welcomes everyone interested in our University to like our page and post comments. However, the material you post on the site may not be illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, racism, contain swearing, or abuse intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to delete any content posted by you if it breaks these rules.

By posting content, you grant Monash University a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use your content including the rights to copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat, and incorporate into a collective work.
You are responsible for the content you post and all activity that occurs under your account. Do not misrepresent yourself or take on the identity of someone else while using this service. If you feel that someone has misrepresented your identity on the site, please email us at [email protected] and we'll review your request.
It is a federal offence to provide or advertise academic cheating services in universities. We will report and delete these posts, and ban users who post them.

We can be flexible to a point, when it comes to self-promotion and including links to your site but they must be seen to be of use or helpful to our readers. If, however, they are considered spam, breach our guidelines, add little value to our students or are blatant advertising they will be removed.

In addition, Monash upholds the Terms of Service standards administered by Facebook. Facebook encourages all users to utilise the 'Report' links when they find abusive content.

Monash Facebook is maintained by staff from Strategic Marketing and Communications and by staff from the Office of Future Students.
