Our mission is simple - to enable doctors to have more control and make smarter choices about their careers and training. We strongly believe we can achieve this through collaboration enabled by technology.
Choosing which specialty to do, where to work, what training courses to do - in contrast to peers in other industries, there is a severe lack of transparent information and services to help doctors with these important decisions.
Making poor and ill-informed decisions in these areas can have profound effects on our morale - we feel demotivated, depressed and unsatisfied with our profession and this impacts on the quality of care we’re able to deliver. Not only do we suffer, but so do our patients.
Messly was created in response to this.
By creating a strong and vibrant community where doctors can share their experiences and help each other through these critical decisions, we empower each other to make better choices. We hope this can make being a doctor a more worthwhile, satisfying and enjoyable profession.
