It all started early 2015 with a vision of a jacket that could assist a person in an unexpected survival situation. Pawel & Johan teamed up and started implementing their respective decade of military experience into the project.
The trick was to make all the necessary equipment integrated in a way so that it would not be visible or uncomfortable. The jacket needed to work on your way to the office, your business journey or outdoor adventure but still have that dormant capability which could be used when necessary.
Quality, weight, durability and size became key words during the whole process. It took over a year including several prototypes and endless discussions covering literally every detail before we finally had a final product, the Steinar jacket.
We managed to create something new, something more than a shell with pockets and zippers. Something, at least we, have not seen before.
