Current solutions are invasive, ineffective, expensive and/or induce unwanted side effects. Yet the global market for male/female pattern baldness was €7.2B in 2018. Mane Biotech is developing a wearable device that prevents hair loss and promotes regrowth in people with pattern baldness. Our proprietary device is effective, safe, non-invasive and affordable. We are currently testing a beta-prototype on selected volunteers and have partnered with +11 leading hair clinics to trial and launch our market-ready device across Europe. Samuel Jellard holds a BEng and a PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton. He spent 2 years of his postgraduate studies at A*STAR Singapore, where he designed energy harvesting devices. His engineering skill set allows pioneering concepts to be transformed into game changing solutions. Carlos Chacón-Martínez holds an MSc in medical biotech, a PhD in cell biology and has 5+ years postdoctoral experience in skin/hair stem cells & regenerative medicine at prestigious institutions such as the TU Dresden and the Max Planck Institute. He’s an inventor with 2 patents and several scientific publications in top journals.
