little concert is the love-child of a group of passionate music lovers and musicians. Driven by frustration of a disconnected and foggy sector for both musicians and anyone looking to book live music, we decided to go all-in to democratise live music booking by facilitation instead of gate keeping. During the summer of 2016 we launched a simple platform from London to engage a community and learn how best to facilitate our vision. Within months, we had users joining our community organically from more than 30 countries, and within about half a year 100 little concerts had taken place around the UK. By early 2017 we concluded a proven concept that worked for both musicians and their customers, but instead of boosting it all just yet, we decided to take a step back to redefine and reposition our product and ourselves. This decision led us to reorganise, open up an office in Denmark, and extend our operations in London. Furthermore, we started the engagement of Local Heroes in the UK and USA, and built what we would consider to be the solution for the future of local live music bookings. In June 2017, more a less a year after the launch of our very first beta, we introduced the all new little concert; a complete community marketplace built end-to-end by us and carefully incorporating months of feedback and field work. This leaves us with the present. With a highly complex platform delivering simple solutions and a specialised and diversified team; we are all set to disrupt local live music – globally.
