King Lab is a research group at the University of Washington that develops general computational methods for designing new protein nanomaterials with atomic-level accuracy, with a focus on structures suited for applications in medicine, particularly structure-based vaccine design and targeted delivery of biologics. The King group designs functional protein-based nanomaterials to create new opportunities for the treatment and prevention of disease. Neil King, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Institute for Protein Design, joined the Institute for Protein Design as a Translational Investigator in early 2014.
