Kapacity.io, an energy optimisation startup backed by Y Combinator, is helping building owners reduce heating and cooling energy costs and emissions with demand response of electricity. We shift our customers electricity consumption to periods of lower electricity prices and higher renewable electricity production.
The company was founded to help our society use more renewable energy with lower costs. Kapacity.io is targeting the real estate sector, which is responsible for 30% of global CO2-emissions. Our mission is to push that to zero.
