OrbMi combines a software application with a hardware device called the Orb, allowing us to message better with our closest friends and family. The Orb provides two-way convenience, respecting the needs of both the “sender” and the “receiver”, for our rich one-way messages of voice and emoticons of light with those who matter most in our lives. There is no need to avoid or delay the expression of our thoughts to catch them at the “right time”, and there is no need to “downgrade” our expressive voice to a text or tweet. The Orb allows us to message when it is always the right time to send and when it is always the right time to be heard, giving us the perfect way to communicate at the perfect time.
