Jisto creates an elastic compute cloud out of underutilized enterprise server cycles, and allows enterprises to transparently run more parallelized compute-intensive workloads on their paid-for but unused resources. Jisto operates in on-premises data centers as well as private and public clouds, reducing computing costs by up to 75–90% over acquiring more hardware or cloud resources. Jisto is complementary to, and does not interfere with, most existing systems, virtualized and non-virtualized.
