IntraGel Therapeutics

IntraGel, is a new small size pharma company located at NGT3VC, Nazareth. At IntraGel we are interested in the field of sustained delivery of “challenging” drugs, RNAs and other therapeutic agents. At IntraGel we have developed a unique injectable polymeric platform for sustained release (SRGel), that solidifies once injected into the body. Once there, it starts to breakdown releasing the trapped drug/agent to the surrounding area, slowly and over weeks. Our platform, SRGel, is versatile and does not require the use of solvents nor water, thus it cover wide range of drugs even the most sensitive ones. IntraGel’s market potential is a multibillion $, specifically, in the field of oncology. Thus, currently we are targeting head and neck cancer (HNC), where patients cannot be treated with conventional chemotherapy intravenously due to its toxicity, rendering them unfit. IntraGel’s SRGel mixed with anti-cancer drug, is applied through direct injection, sub-contentious, to the tumor’s site. Once there, SRGel will sustain release the drug into the tumor over weeks, with minimal systemic toxicity, giving those unfit patients a second chance.
