It all started when Pratik Shelar was studying at Coventry University, UK back in 2013. Being passionate about Movies, he would go to the local cinema to watch Indian Movies every Friday. That’s when he realized that very few people were aware of the release of Indian movies in UK cinemas. There was not a single centralized platform available to get information about Indian movies releasing in the UK and hence Indian Movie Friend was born on 19 January 2016 as the first Ticketing Portal for Indian Movies and events, concerts in the UK.
As the business evolved we diversified into movie streaming, making Indian Movie Friend a digital theater to watch awesome shows and movies movies for free. Now Indian Movie Friend is a worldwide brand and we are so proud to be the first ever free digital theatre in the world.
