It all started with $1,100 and a dream for Ben and Dorthy Haggen and Doug Clark when they opened their first store in 1933 in Bellingham, Washington. For over more than 80 years, Haggen has been passionate about serving our customers with freshness and quality—that’s why we continuously strive to cultivate talented, dedicated associates who share our passion for bringing guests the freshest, local products possible with genuine service while building a sustainable local food economy and supporting our communities.
