The ACEP network (Agency for Private Enterprise Credit) was initiated in 1989 in Senegal and has successfully developed in Madagascar, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Niger.
The technical assistance project aims to implement a reference accounting system (Odoo) at ACEP Niger, in order to facilitate bookkeeping and enable the production of automatic financial statements as required by BCEAO regulations.
The implementation of this professional accounting system will enable ACEP Niger to produce financial statements quickly while reducing the risk of error due to manual intervention in the data. In addition, this approach will enable ACEP Niger to better prepare for its migration from CBS, scheduled for 2024, having already migrated its accounting to a robust system and thus facilitating the necessary checks during the transition. Finally, the analytical analysis and budget monitoring possible in Odoo will enable the institution to better monitor its financial performance.
