Pebby is a spherical toy conceived with pet owners in mind. With many families being pet owners, and the advent of smart technologies, Pebby aims to alleviate the anxiety of pet owners being separated from their pets.
With Pebby, pet owners can monitor their pets or the home surroundings through a wide-angle video camera. Pebby’s movement can be controlled via smartphone app from virtually anywhere in the world through a Wi-Fi network.
The interaction between owners and pets is enhanced through tracking technology that allows Pebby to follow or repel from the pet autonomously. Tracking is achieved via a collar and also facial recognition through the camera. This enables Pebby to entertain pets when their owners are not around.
