Since its inception in 1985, GeminiBio’s focus and niche has always been to produce consistent, high quality products, coupled with exceptional, personalized service. The company began operations in Calabasas, California, with marketing activities targeting the research and biotech community across the state. As a result of continued and progressive success, Gemini consistently expanded the sales force to be able to service the entire United States. After undergoing multiple expansions, Gemini now operates out of a 12,000 square foot manufacturing facility in West Sacramento, California.

Today, GeminiBio is a leading manufacturer and supplier of cell culture media, sera, and other reagents to the scientific community across academic research and the biotechnology, cell and gene therapy, and biopharma industries. A national sales force and an international distribution network serves cell culture laboratories worldwide.

In September 2018, BelHealth Investment Partners, a healthcare private equity firm, invested in Gemini Bio-Products. A new leadership team led by CEO Brian Parker was brought on to guide the company through its exciting next chapter. With this growth investment, GeminiBio has plans to move into a new state-of-the-art 25,000 square foot facility in West Sacramento by early 2020.

Throughout its growth, GeminiBio has maintained the personalized service on which its reputation was built. Samples and orders are often processed and shipped the same day they are requested, enabling customers to receive their orders the very next day. Gemini’s sales team visits customers regularly to provide mutually agreed solutions to customer needs.
