Futuris implements CHP plants based on vegetable oil and biomass in industrial facilities for the purpose of supplying both green electricity and steam/heat to its customers.
Futuris has successfully completed its first three projects, each a 1 MW plant, and has several other mid-sized plants in advanced stages of development. The company leverages the considerable industrial network of its managers and is well positioned to become one of the leading renewable energy project developers in Italy.
In addition, Futuris is pursuing projects aimed at securing feedstock supply through upstream investments in jatropha oil and vegetable oil production.
