Future Materials will be a digital platform for sustainable design, for design professionals and home renovators who are wanting to use environmentally responsible products, it will showcase the latest in innovative, green materials and products for the construction and design industries. Unlike other material databases, Future Materials will foreground sustainability and also spotlight Australian Made products, plus highly skilled ‘makers’ including indigenous craftsmen and innovative international products. This will enable the design community to enact on their green building aspirations quickly and build a community of responsible innovators in construction.
