Fresh Brothers

The first Fresh Brothers was opened in 2008 by Adam and Debbie Goldberg in Manhattan Beach whose goal was to take their traditional Chicago-style family recipes, originally created by Adam’s older brother, Scott, and give them a fresh California twist. The neighborhood pizza spot offers deep-dish, skinny or thin-crust pizzas along with hand-chopped, made-to-order salads, buffalo wings, and meatball sliders and chicken sliders served on King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls. There are currently 19 locations throughout Southern California. The fast-growing fast casual chain has been voted the Los Angeles Times’ Best Pizza in the South Bay, and the Best Pizza Restaurant in the Easy Reader’s Best of the Beach. In addition, Fresh Brothers has received national accolades such as “Best Independent Pizzeria” from Pizza Today Magazine. The Los Angeles-based fast casual chain truly appeals to everyone because of its commitment to offering fresh, flavorful, yet healthier options. For example, the dough is made fresh daily from their commissary and delivered to each restaurant overnight. Nothing is ever fried; wings, bites, and tenders, even the wedge cut fries are baked. The company only uses all-natural pepperoni which means there are no nitrates, no artificial ingredients and it is minimally processed. Fresh Brothers has only used all-natural mozzarella--made without preservatives, fillers, artificial ingredients and no GMO’s. The Fresh Kids(™) Special Sauce has a mix of five different finely-ground veggies blended into the pizza sauce. Customers have plenty of of gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free options at Fresh Brothers. All Fresh Brothers kitchens utilize the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness’ Great Kitchens program to ensure the restaurant’s gluten-free options are prepared safely and to the highest standards. Vegan “chicken” bites, vegan cheese, vegan Italian sausage and vegan salad dressing make ordering easy, without compromising taste. And to top it off, all Fresh Brothers food is prepared in a nut-free environment.
