F2 Solutions is providing a guidelines-based approach to the management of patients who have unexplained episodes of fainting or falling. Novel algorithms developed at the University of Utah use the most current U.S. and European guidelines to direct clinicians in the treatment of faint and fall patients. Specifically, software developed at the university based on these algorithms instructs physicians and other health-care professionals what diagnostic and testing procedures to use and provides decision support for hospital admission.
