For more than 26 years, the Company has produced super-premium, organic, and holistic pet foods and treats for dogs, cats and exotic birds. The Company offers a wide range of services including product concepting, pilot testing, manufacturing and packaging for premium pet food labels. C.J. Foods is located in the heart of America’s most productive farm country, giving it access to some of the best ingredients available. Their state-of-the-art factories produce products to the highest possible food safety standards for both the domestic and international markets. Trinity Hunt funded a major plant expansion for C.J. Foods which increased its plant capacity by 50%. Additionally, we implemented a management stock option program and a new employee safety program. By the end of 2011, the Company was posting record revenues and profits, with the increased capacity already spoken for by existing and new customers – ensuring continued growth in the future. During THP's ownership, C.J. Foods doubled its EBITDA and tripled its enterprise value. THP successfully exited its investment in C.J. Foods in May 2014, through a sale to J.H. Whitney Capital Partners, a Connecticut based private equity firm.
